Brimming with raw, unvarnished talent, the Alabama-born singer-songwriter channels the spirit of old-school soul with a whole lot of R&B attitude, Alexia’s debut single, “Who Raised You,“– an original track quickly building grassroots buzz across social media— will officially be released on May 19th as her debut single.
Winning the world-famous Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater at just 9 years old, Alexia kept honing her voice, inspired by the likes of Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Sam Cooke. But it wasn’t until she began sharing videos on social media (an acapella performance of “Who Raised You?”, being one of them), that her career truly took flight.
